The University had the distinction of being named America’s #1 Party School by Playboy Magazine in 2000. This book contains many party photos, including one where a student was removed by an ambulance.
Students waged a dramatic protest following sicknesses caused by campus dining. Torch photographers were there throughout.
Suzanne Lyall disappeared without a trace from Collins Circle two years before this yearbook. Vigils continued to be held on campus, and Torch visited her parent’s home for a portrait and to publish a written letter from her dad. Suzanne was never found.
